What are chakras?
Major Chakras also known as Energy Centers
Chakras are very important parts of the energy body. The chakras in the human body correspond to various organs and glands of the body based on their positions.
Chakras serve as entry points for life energy or “Prana” into your body.
The major chakras not only control and energize the vital organs of the body but also control and affect a person’s psychological and spiritual conditions. Just as the visible physical body has vital and minor organs, the energy body has major, minor and mini chakras.
In various spiritual and healing traditions, Chakras are energy centers or vortexes in the body. These energy centers are believed to be located along the spinal column and are thought to control the flow of energy or “prana” throughout the body. They are often associated with different aspects of physical and emotional well-being.
There are eleven major chakras in the body, each associated with a different part of the body and different physical, emotional, and mental characteristics.
- The crown chakra
- Forehead chakra
- Ajna Chakra
- Throat Chakra
- Front Heart Chakra
- Back Heart Chakra
- Solar Plexus Chakra (front and back)
- Navel Chakra
- Sex Chakra
- Spleen Chakra (front and back)
- Meng Mein Chakra
- Basic Chakra
Each chakra has a specific color and symbol and is associated with certain organs, glands, and body parts.
In spiritual and healing practices, practitioners may use various techniques to balance and open the chakras, with the goal of restoring balance and harmony to the energy system.
How can healing heal me?
Healing is a holistic practice that aims to balance and align the body’s energy systems to promote healing and well-being. Some of the potential benefits of pranic healing include:
Feeling more comfortable and relaxed: many clients say they feel lighter and more at ease after a session. Pranic Healing is used alongside, not instead of, medical treatment for pain or injury.
Improving emotional well-being: Pranic healing can help to balance and align the body’s energy systems, which can help to release negative emotions and reduce stress and anxiety.
Supporting a sense of balance: Pranic Healing aims to balance the body’s energy system, which many people find supports their general sense of wellbeing.
Improving focus and concentration: Pranic healing can help to balance and align the body’s energy systems, which can help to improve focus and concentration, resulting in better performance.
Therapists of Pranic Healing use specific hand movements, visualization techniques, and other methods to transfer healing energy to the patient and to help clear blockages in the body’s energy system.
Pranic Healing can be used as a complementary practice to support the healing process and improve overall well-being. It can also help in dealing with emotional and mental issues, by reducing stress and promoting relaxation. Many people also use it for support with feelings of stress, worry and grief. It does not replace care from your GP or a mental health professional.
What is Pranic Healing
Pranic Healing is a no-touch, complementary energy healing practice that uses prana, or “life energy,” to promote healing in the body. Pranic Therapists believe that the body has the ability to heal itself and that the flow of prana through the body can be used to enhance this natural healing process.
The main technique used in Pranic Healing is the transfer of energy from the pranic therapist to the patient, through a process known as “energy sweeping.” This is done by the pranic therapist using their hands to scan the patient’s aura (an energy field surrounding the body) and the energy body to identify areas that may be congested or depleted, and then using specific hand movements to cleanse and energize these areas. The pranic therapist may also use visualization techniques, such as imagining light flowing into the affected area, to help direct the energy where it is needed.
Pranic Healing is based on the belief that most physical and emotional illnesses are caused by the depletion or congestion of the body’s energy and that by clearing these blockages and increasing the flow of energy through the body, the patient can achieve a greater state of balance and well-being.
How much does Pranic Healing cost?
Adult sessions are £65 for 60 minutes and children’s sessions are £35 for 45 minutes, in person or distant. A 15-minute consultation is free. Meditation on Twin Hearts group classes ask for a £5 donation. See prices and booking.
Where are sessions held?
My healing clinic is in Walsall, West Midlands. Group meditation runs fortnightly on Thursdays at Mere Green Community Centre, Sutton Coldfield. Distant sessions are available online or by telephone anywhere in the UK, 7 days a week.
Is Pranic Healing safe?
Pranic Healing is no-touch and non-invasive, and you stay fully clothed. Please tell me about any medical conditions at your consultation, and keep following your GP’s or specialist’s advice.
Does Pranic Healing replace medical treatment?
No. Pranic Healing is a complementary practice. It works alongside medical care and never replaces it.
How many sessions will I need?
Everyone is different. Some people come for a single session and others book a series. We can talk about what suits you during your free 15-minute consultation.
Do I need to believe in Pranic Healing?
No. You don’t need any prior knowledge or particular beliefs to have a session. Just come with an open mind.
What do I do during a session?
Nothing special. You can sit or lie down, with your arms and legs uncrossed, and close your eyes and relax. For a distant session, rest somewhere quiet where you won’t be disturbed. After any Pranic Healing session, please avoid having a bath or shower for 12 hours.
Can children have Pranic Healing?
Yes. Children’s sessions last 45 minutes and can be in person or distant. Please get in touch first so we can talk about your child’s needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or move a session. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, are charged at the full session fee.
